Data Science Program Learning Outcomes

  1. Demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills within the discipline of data science.

  2. Calculate, apply, and synthesize core content in data science (e.g. calculus, statistics, programming).

  3. Apply algorithmic, mathematical, and scientific reasoning to a variety of computational problems using multiple representations (visualization, graphics, symbolic notations, and numerical data).

  4. Demonstrate proficiency with statistical analyses of data using models and professional statistical software.

  5. Model Christian leadership principles and practice ethical decision making within the discipline of data science.
